Hi, I’m Alexa Brooke, an artist and designer driven by creative chaos, texture, and the belief that art should live everywhere, not just inside a frame.

My work begins with painting. Every piece I create comes from instinct, emotion, and movement rather than rules or categories. My paintings exist across a wide visual spectrum: modern textured abstractions, skull studies, pop art influences, ocean inspired works, expressive female figures and faces, bold gradients, and striking black and white compositions. Some pieces feel raw and rebellious, others calm and atmospheric. Together, they reflect the many moods, energies, and stories that shape how we experience art.

I’ve never believed an artist needs to stay in one lane. Creativity, for me, is exploration. My studio often feels like multiple worlds colliding at once, layered textures beside minimal monochromes, softness next to edge, control meeting spontaneity. Chaos is not something I try to tame. It’s the foundation of my process.

While painting is the heart of what I do, my work doesn’t stop at the canvas. Rugs are a major part of my creative world and my professional life. I transform my original artwork into custom rug designs, translating color, texture, and movement into pieces meant to be lived on, walked across, and experienced daily. A rug is not just décor. It anchors a space, shapes a room, and becomes part of everyday life.

I believe art shouldn’t exist only on walls. I create for the walls and the floors because your space deserves beauty in every dimension.

Beyond painting and rug design, I also design and direct the full visual language behind brands and creative projects. My work spans graphic design, magazine and catalog layouts, branding, logos, print materials, and visual storytelling. I love building cohesive creative identities, where every detail, from typography to texture to color, feels intentional and connected.

At the core of everything I create is a simple goal: to make work that feels personal, expressive, and alive. Whether it’s a painting, a rug, or a full brand identity, I want each piece to spark emotion and connection, something people don’t just see, but experience.

Because art isn’t meant to stay still. It’s meant to be lived with.
